Independent Sales Representative, Education


SRG Technology’s Independent Sales Representative, Education works for the Education group to generate leads, maintain contacts and close sales in assigned territories, Florida or California. The Independent Sales Representative will obtain and generate leads, set appointments, perform product presentations, close sales, and maintain ongoing customer relationships. The Independent Sales Representative also receives leads from SRGT’s marketing campaigns and will provide follow-through by phone, email, internet and other means, on all assigned leads and opportunities. SRGT will expect participation in outreach strategies, attendance at some conferences and events that may aid in the generation of additional leads and sales. SRGT will provide marketing, pricing and proposal guidelines and materials.

• Generate revenue and sales leads
• Work in tandem with the in-house marketing and sales team
• Follow up on generated and campaign leads
• Secure meetings and product demonstrations
• Provide demos to leads/prospects
• Meet contact, lead and sales quotas as agreed
• Participates in a weekly sales pipeline meeting
• Service existing accounts as required
• Collate information about competitors
• Maintain accurate sales records from the first contact

• A hard core sales-driven professional who understands the product being sold
• Experienced in sourcing prospective customers
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing or related field
• 5+ years handling educational technology and/or K-12 curriculum experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience in the Florida or California education sectors
• Knowledge of digital platforms and products, and able to provide prospects with product demonstrations
• Ability to proficiently use and adapt to multiple software programs, platforms and devices, including sales database product (CRM)
• Self-motivated and goal oriented; demonstrates a relentless tenacity with specific sales strategies

Travel: Expected in Territory
